Gabriel had his first encounter with music when he picked up a bass guitar at the age of 14. Ten years later, he is still very much enamoured with this instrument, playing for several artists (Jonathan Dassin, Arezki, Malya, Jalouseetmoi...) as a live and session bass player. Since then he has picked up a few other instruments and started composing, first creating a post-punk/crank wave band, Medena, with his uni friends. They released an EP “Odyssey” in December 2023. As lead singer and bass player in the band, he discovered a passion for songwriting and began being more involved in his own songs, starting a solo project for 2025 mixing various influences, inspired by Damon Albarn, Grian Chatten, The Smile, Radiohead, The Murder Capital, The Orielles, The WAEVE…

Gabriel also has the ambition of becoming a live Musical Director and Artistic Director for other peoples’ projects. He played in Jean Alain Roussel’s Big Band Orchestra at the Cours Florent Musique school (Paris) between 2022-2024, eventually becoming its Musical Director, and this year he began directing and producing for the emerging artist Jalouseetmoi.
