Hilversum
James Castelijn
In 2012, James joined the DJ collective BANGANAGANGBANGERS, focusing on producing and releasing their own work. Strongly inspired by artists like Noisia, Eprom, Hudson Mohawk, Ivy Lab, G Jones & Joker, they immersed themselves in the world of underground bass, (half-time) DnB, and glitch hop. Despite operating in a niche market, the energy of both the music and the DJ act brought the collective to stages such as Mysteryland, We Are Electric, Woo Hah, Melkweg, Solar Festival, ADE (own event), and many more.
After completing his private study in Audio & Studio Engineering at the Volver Academy in Tilburg in 2013, James began his studies at the Herman Brood Academy in 2015. Here, he connected with rappers who asked him to handle the mixing and mastering of their songs, marking the official start of his career as a mixing and mastering engineer. Following his graduation in 2017, demand and workload increased, quickly adding major Dutch Urban names like Henkie T, Snelle, Young Ellens, Latifah, Kimono, Chivv, Defano, Numidia, and record labels such as Quatro Vision, Trifecta, Avalon Music, and Rotterdam Airlines to his credit list.
Since 2017, James has also been involved in the development of Wisseloord Studio’s House of Music and Wisseloord Publishing in Hilversum. In 2020, James took on the role of both Mastering Engineer at this facility and A&R Manager of the House of Music and Wisseloord Publishing, a collaboration between BMG BNLX and Wisseloord. As the A&R manager of the Wisseloord Publishing, James has been involved with organizing numerous international writing camps and has been responsible to connect both national and international writers.
Philippe Weiss
For the last 25 years, Philippe Weiss has quietly established himself as one of the greatest mix engineers around. As one of the leading names in the French music industry, he has worked with big artists such as Madonna, David Guetta, The Alchemist , Usher, Kendrick Lamar, Selah Sue,Evidence, Black Coffee, Charles Aznavour, Drake, Martin Solveig, Ben l’Oncle Soul and Alicia Keys and more. His work consists of several number one hits and multi-platinum records worldwide.
Recently, Weiss has mixed tracks for Drake, Diplo, and the South African house music megastar Black Coffee. He also teaches at the Wisseloord Academy.
Noah Smits
Noah is one of the most recognized music marketeers and data analysts of The Netherlands. Working as consultant for numerous artists and labels, Noah is one of the figures of the field that cannot be missed out.
Nouri Avery
Noah Avery is a singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. He studied vocals at the Herman Brood Academy, and now writes for different artists. He believes stories are the most important part of a song and the instrumental should be a perfect fit. Noah has worked with artists such as: Wulf, De Hofnar, Miss Montreal, Thomas Nan, George Holliday, Collin Jax and Robbie Mendez.
Rogier Bol
Rogier Bol has more than 15 years experience working in the music industry as marketeer and project manager setting up strategies and release plans for singles, EPs and full length albums locally and internationally, digitally and physically.
Rogier works for and with the majors like Universal Music and indie labels like Fully Charged. He also works for artists from Billie Eilish to Inge van Calkar across all genres. His own company Stroomlijn (Streamline in Dutch) is a service label and marketing and promotion company helping artist to streamline their releases and dreams.
Rafil Sam
Producer Rafil Sam previously worked with Ali B, Lijpe, Mula B, Ismo, Ashafar, Young Ellens, Sandra Sahi. Alongside producing, he teaches production at the Wisseloord Academy in Hilversum.
Yori Olijslagers
Yori Olijslagers is a music producer from the Netherlands. His music is a combination of “Vibey synths and aggressive HipHop inspired drums” and he likes to take you on an electronic trip through spaces you never knew existed.
Yori previously worked with big names such as Kyteman, Willem (de opposites), Sef, PAX the humanoid, Pete Philly, Secret Rendezvous, Lisa Lois, Rilan & The Bombardiers, The Indien, Maydien, JNTHN Stein, Grayson Capps, Michael Martin Murphy, Ableton Expert.

Recording and mixing engineer Felix Tournier has worked with big names as Akon, KRS One, Young Thug, David Guetta, Ilse DeLange, Jett Rebell, Kensington and more!
Daimy Lotus
Since early childhood singer and songwriter Daimy Lotus has been involved with music, singing and dance. Even at the tender age of five she could be found performing at the yearly cultural market in her home town. In 2009 she decided to pursue a career in songwriting as well.
In May 2015 she released her debut EP named ’15’ including her first single Saturday Girl and second single Cannonball which she got acknowledged for by Dutch radiostation 3FM by naming her Serious Talent. Other radiostations followed along. For this EP she worked closely together with Martijn Konijnenburg (aka Tienus). She played at many festivals and did a Dutch tour through twenty different cities.
Now her focus is on songwriting. After writing songs and performing them for her solo project for several years, she decided to focus on writing for other artists as well. Therefore she has written with a variety of songwriters, producers and artists like Filous, Janieck, Joshua Hardy, Kameron Grae, Marlon Roudette, PollyAnna, Roxanne Emery and TV Noise.
