SONIC Writing Camp Paris

Are you a woman ready to take your music career to the next level? Join SONIC, a groundbreaking series of writing camps created by Wisseloord Studios, one of Europe’s most iconic music institutions. Over the next 12 months, SONIC will support and connect at least 100 women across the European music sector, with camps taking place in the Netherlands (Hilversum), France (Paris), and Italy (Milan).

Each 4-day camp begins with a day of immersive Wisseloord Academy workshops, blending creative development and essential business skills, led by active music industry professionals. The following three days are dedicated to intensive writing sessions in curated teams, working in professional studios with expert guidance. Participants retain full rights to all work created during the camp. The experience concludes with a live listening session where your songs are presented to a panel of industry leaders—offering direct feedback, valuable exposure, and career-boosting networking opportunities. These sessions are designed to increase international visibility and music export potential.

SONIC: the making of
Wisseloord Studios, one of Europe’s most iconic music institutions, launches SONIC Writing Camps—a transformative project aimed at empowering at least 100 women across Europe’s music sector over 12 months. Through a series of four high-impact writing camps in the Netherlands (Hilversum), France (Paris), and Italy (Milan), SONIC leverages Wisseloord’s extensive international network and world-class facilities to deliver a unique blend of creative collaboration, professional training, and strategic music export support. SONIC is more than a writing camp—it is a cross-border initiative to reshape the European music landscape through gender-inclusive co-creation, talent development, and visibility.

General information

– The SONIC Writing Camp in Paris takes place from June 26th until June 29nd 2025. It is a 4 day writing camp from 10.00 till 18:00 o’ clock.
– On the first day, we will focus on education through Wisseloord Academy lectures. The next three days, you will participate in our writing camps and pitch your tracks to international artists and industry professionals on the last day.
– The SONIC Writing Camp takes place at the LaPlace studios in Paris, France.
– The costs for the full camp are free including all feedback sessions, studio time, writing camps and lunch.
– The camp is open to applications from women and nonbinary individuals from all EU-states. Applicants are free to apply to multiple SONIC camps via THIS LINK.
– Our award-winning coaching team will be announced soon! The camp has a capacity of ca. 25 participants that will be selected by the A&R Team of the Wisseloord Studios. Participants keep full right of their work.

The deadline for applying for the camps is May 25th at 23:59. The selection will be communicated to all applicants in the following week.
