Ground Up is back! After a year of growth and development at the Wisseloord Academy in Hilversum, these four talented artists are ready to show what they’ve got – each with their own unique performance. During Ground Up, you can enjoy performances by Oscar Peris, Romeo Marino, Victor Germanus, and Toby Manes!
Romeo Marino
Romeo Marino is a versatile musician with American roots, based in Amsterdam. He writes, plays, and produces his own songs, exploring themes like longing, friendship, family relationships, and the pursuit of happiness. His voice and sound are moving, memorable, and invite you to feel deeply – or simply dance until dawn.
Toby Manes
Toby Manes started with music at a young age: first drums, then piano, and later music production. His musical background shines through in his clear compositions and self-written songs. Since releasing his debut single ‘Tonight’, he has continued to develop his style with a fresh perspective and strong sense of melody.
Victor Germanus
Victor Germanus traded in his dream of becoming a tennis player at a young age for a life in music – and hasn’t looked back since. With his powerful voice, heartfelt lyrics, and a mix of acoustic pop and raw folk, he’s built a loyal fanbase both online and on stage. From his bedroom to Dublin’s National Stadium, Victor sings with passion, always in search of genuine connection.
Oscar Peris
Originally from Valencia, singer-songwriter Oscar Peris now lives in Amsterdam and writes his songs in both English and Catalan. His music is deeply personal, with lyrics that touch on love, life, and spirituality. Expect warm folk tones and an honest style that leaves room for reflection.
