On Sunday, August 2nd 2026 another edition of the Sunday Sessions will be held at the Wisseloord Studios in Hilversum. This Sunday afternoon from 13:30 on, the audience will be part of a variety of live recordings from Ohnoah and Neil Hollyn.
Ohnoah
For Ohnoah, songwriting has never been a choice, but a matter of pure survival. At the age of 17, they escaped a destructive home. Growing up non-binary and queer within a macho North African/Italian culture meant facing a total lack of acceptance, both at home and at school. They processed their trauma into melodies, building a home for themselves when the world didn’t offer one. They aren’t interested in making pain look pretty; they just want to tell the truth.
The road to success was anything but easy. After breaking out with a solo project that landed them on major stages like Best Kept Secret, Sofar Sounds, and Down the Rabbit Hole. Ohnoah shifted their focus to writing and producing for others. But when record sales plummeted, the lack of a financial safety net left them homeless. Unwilling to quit, they moved into a van and kept creating. That relentless drive sparked a stellar behind-the-scenes career, scoring gold records and chart-toppers for international icons from Steve Aoki to Miss Montreal and Wulf. Now, the award-winning musician is finally stepping into the spotlight. This isn’t a victory lap. It’s a vibe shift for anyone who has ever felt invisible.
Ohnoah is turning heavy, jagged emotions into anthems that give a home to the listeners who need it most. Described as the musical lovechild of Jeremy Zucker and MGK. Messed-up childhood anthems. Ohnoah flawlessly bridges the gap between intimate bedroom-pop and massive stadium anthems.
Neil Hollyn
Neil Hollyn writes for the ones still figuring it out; the people who laugh too loud, love too hard, and sometimes lose themselves along the way. His songs don’t try to fix anything; they just sit next to you and say, yeah, me too. His sound sits in that sweet spot where soft rock meets indie-pop. The pulse & ringing of acoustic and electric guitars, open tunings, and choruses that lift you right up.
Come ready to dance, scream along for a bit, and walk out feeling like you just made sense of something you couldn’t name before. If you love the emotional lift of Sam Fender, the intimacy of Holly Humberstone, or the melodic grit of Goo Goo Dolls, you’ll find yourself at home here.
*Neil Hollyn fun fact: His song September Moon literally got shot to space for a charity event.
