Estudio Novena is a Grammy and Latin Grammy-winning studio located in the Narvarte neighbourhood of Mexico City. It has become a home for Latin American and international musicians — welcoming everyone from emerging artists to global figures — all drawn in by a warm, collaborative environment where artistic vision always finds its place.
Panoram Studios
Panoram is a Grammy award-winning studio in the heart of the Condesa neighborhood that was born in 2015 with the vision of creating a space where you can work in any kind of music, audio production and postproduction project.
Colombia-born singer and songwriter Susana Cala began her career as a staff writer at Warner Chappell Colombia, going on to pen songs for some of the biggest names in Latin music — including Morat, Sebastián Yatra, Andrés Cepeda, and Ximena Sariñana, whose Warner Chappell-era cut earned a Latin Grammy nomination. Her signature as a topline writer lies in crafting melodies that feel effortlessly personal yet travel across genres and borders, a skill that has seen her work span pop, bachata, and reggaeton for artists across Latin America and Spain. As a solo artist, her duet « Mi Canción Favorita » with Lasso surpassed 100 million YouTube views, and she was selected as part of Spotify’s RADAR Latin America Class of 2024, cementing her place as one of the region’s most compelling emerging voices.
@susanacalaMexican singer and songwriter originally from the city of Puebla. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Jazz Studies from the Center for Jazz Studies at the University of Veracruz. Karina Galicia speaks about her context and surroundings through the sounds of R&B and pop, leaving a mark with her rawness and honesty. Selected with her first album, “Cancionero del Nuevo Milenio” (Songbook of the New Millennium), to be part of the 2020 concert season of Mexico City Theaters. Member of the fifth generation of the Composition Workshop of the Society of Authors and Composers.
@akarinagaliciaChilean producer, mixing engineer, and studio owner currently based in Mexico City, renowned for his work across Latin and international music scenes. A highly acclaimed professional, he has won 2 Latin Grammys and received 2 Grammy nominations, with his work featured on albums for major artists including Mon Laferte and Los Bunkers, among many others. Castro co-founded Estudio Novena in CDMX, known for its focus on quality vintage gear and creating a collaborative environment, and he also pursues his own artistic projects as a singer and composer under the name “Felicaster.”
@felicasterFabio Lendrum, known professionally as Noize London, is a producer, songwriter, and mixing engineer who has collaborated with some of the most respected names in music including Dallas Austin (Michael Jackson, TLC, Madonna), Rick Nowels (Lana Del Rey, Stevie Nicks, Dua Lipa), and Kool Kojak (Nicki Minaj, Doja Cat, Flo Rida). His work spans across major labels such as Warner, Sony, and Ministry of Sound, and includes official remixes for Martin Garrix and Diplo as part of his artist project KAIOS, named one of BBC Radio 1’s Future Stars. Collectively, his productions and mixes have amassed millions of streams worldwide.
@noize_londonA Mexico City-based music producer, sound engineer, and songwriter, Ben Bultrini brings a global perspective to everything he creates — from crafting records at Grammy-winning Estudio Novena, which he co-owns, to producing original music and sound design for artists, films, and brands through his audio-post agency SoundSpot. As a respected lecturer at SAE Institute Mexico and the organizer of Wisseloord Academy’s songwriting camps in Mexico, Ben is equally committed to shaping the next generation of music professionals as he is to pushing his own creative output.
Malik Berrabah is owner of Wisseloord and founder of the Wisseloord Academy. His track record as a songwriter, composer, arranger and producer is rich of countless national and international records in various genres. He has contributed to the production of numerous albums, singles, television programs, etc., and regularly advises the Majors in a neutral way on the level of new musical projects in development. His love for sharing with growing talents leads him, when his schedule allows, to participate as a jury for international conservatory exams.
Since the beginning of his career 30 years ago, Malik has decided to do all his musical work under various pseudonyms in order to keep his career detached from any stylistic labels, to keep his creative freedom and to stay away from the ego games of the music industry.

Music making is more than just technical skill—it’s about shaping ideas, fostering collaboration, and building a shared vision. In this masterclass, we will explore the creative process behind great music, focusing on how producers, artists, songwriters, and engineers can communicate effectively, align their artistic goals, and create something greater than the sum of its parts. Through practical insights and real-world approaches, we’ll dive into the dynamics of collaboration, helping you bring clarity and cohesion to every session while equipping you with invaluable tools for harnessing inspiration.

Tuesday Day 2: The Art of Composition and Arrangement with Karina Galicia
10:00a.m. – 2:00p.m. – Workshops: This session focuses on advanced compositional and arrangement techniques led by Karina Galícia. The workshop will guide students through the crucial process of finalizing their song structures for maximum impact, while also delving into harmonic enrichment—exploring chord substitutions, extensions, and voicings to add depth and sophistication to the tracks. Additionally, students will receive instruction on essential songwriting techniques like pacing, dynamics, and instrumentation choices, ensuring their compositions are complete, polished, and ready for production.
2:00p.m. – 6:00p.m. – Studio Sessions and 1-on-1 Feedback: Students work together on their tracks in the studios after lunch. During these hours, they will get the chance to receive 1-on-1 feedback from the instructors.
Wednesday – Day 3: Vocal Production By Ben Bultrini
10:00a.m. – 2:00p.m. – Workshops: In this session, Ben Bultrini guides students through the complete vocal production process—from capturing great performances in the studio to crafting polished, professional-sounding tracks. Students will learn how to set up an optimal recording environment, direct vocalists to get the best takes, and apply industry-standard mixing techniques to ensure vocals sit perfectly within a mix. Ben will also dive into the creative use of effects—from subtle processing that adds character and warmth to more expressive treatments that define a record’s sonic identity—equipping students with the tools to make every vocal production both technically strong and artistically compelling.
Thursday Day 4 + Friday Day 5: Studio Access
Saturday Day 6: Toplines By Susana Cala
10:00a.m. – 2:00p.m. – Workshops: In this session, songwriter Susana Cala opens up the creative process behind the toplines that have defined her career, sharing the instincts and techniques she uses to write melodies that stick. Students will explore how she approaches a track from scratch—finding its emotional core, building hooks that resonate instantly, and crafting lyrics that feel both personal and universally relatable. Through hands-on exercises and direct feedback, participants will develop their own topline workflow, gaining a deeper understanding of what makes a melody memorable and how to consistently deliver ideas that translate into hits.
Monday Day 7: Music Marketing By Fabio Lendrum
10:00a.m. – 2:00p.m. – Workshops: In today’s music landscape, a great record is only as powerful as the strategy behind it. In this workshop, Fabio Lendrum breaks down the modern music marketing playbook—walking students through how to plan and execute a release, build an engaged audience across social platforms, and use data and analytics to make smarter decisions about their music’s reach and impact. Students will leave with a clear, actionable framework for launching their own music, understanding not just how to create, but how to connect their work with the audiences who need to hear it.
2:00p.m. – 6:00p.m. – Studio Sessions and 1-on-1 Feedback: Students work together on their tracks in the studios after lunch. During these hours, they will get the chance to receive 1-on-1 feedback from the instructors Malik, Ben and Fabio.
Tuesday Day 8: Discovering the Mix with Felipe Castro
10:00a.m. – 2:00p.m. – Workshops: The final session culminates with an in-depth Mixing Workshop led by Grammy-winning Chilean producer-engineer Felipe Castro, focusing on a musical and emotional approach rather than just technical steps. Felipe will demonstrate his signature hybrid digital-analog workflow on a pre-existing session, illustrating how to prioritize critical listening to first enhance the intrinsic sonic qualities of well-recorded material. Students will gain invaluable insight into his mixing philosophy, learning how to use both analog gear and digital tools to bring emotional depth and impact to a mix, providing them with the practical techniques and mindset needed to confidently complete and polish their own camp projects.
2:00p.m. – 6:00p.m. – Studio Sessions: Students work on studio sessions to do all the final mixes of the songs created during this week.
8:00p.m.- 12:00a.m. – The written songs will be pitched to various A&R’s in a listening session with invited industry professionals
